From Albania during World War II comes a story of courage and interfaith solidarity. At that time, Muslims and Christians worked to save over 2,000 Albanian Jews from the Nazi Holocaust.

At 7:00 PM on June 17th, the Islamic Center of Conejo Valley and the Ventura County Interfaith Community will host Shoshana Brower who will describe this inspiring story. Shoshana is a social justice activist who researched the story during her travels in Albania. This event will take place at the the Islamic Center (2700 Borchard Rd, Newbury Park). As always, this event is presented free of charge, and all are welcome, so spread the word to any you know who might be interested.
